Overview
We are seeking a skilled CyberSecurity Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for protecting our organization’s information systems and networks from cyber threats. You will work collaboratively with IT and security teams to design, implement, and maintain security measures that safeguard sensitive data. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various cybersecurity protocols and practices, as well as the ability to analyze and respond to security incidents effectively.
Duties
- Design and implement security solutions to protect network infrastructure and data integrity.
- Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and potential threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to security configurations, incidents, and protocols.
- Respond to security breaches or incidents, conducting thorough investigations and reporting findings.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology advancements.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Proficiency in TCP/IP networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience with UNIX operating systems and their security features.
- Familiarity with IPsec for secure network communications.
- Knowledge of system security principles and best practices.
- Understanding of OSPF routing protocols.
- Experience with IP networking technologies.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies for secure environments.
- Ability to work with APIs for integrating security solutions.
- Proficient in scripting languages for automation of tasks related to cybersecurity.
